Multi-award winning U.K. based manufacturer Evolution Aqua have almost two decades of experience in designing and creating specialist pond filtration systems, in which time they have become one of the most respected aquatic brands in the world.

The incredibly versatile Evolution Aqua Varipump range combine high performance with controllability. They feature a rain-proof (IP44) control box that can be mounted at the side of the pond thanks to the 10m cable length between the pump and the control unit. This control box allows easy switching of the pump at the press of a button, as well as the ability to electronically dim the pump to achieve the exact required flow rate. Electronic dimming also allows for excellent power saving as the power consumption is reduced in line with the flow rate.

Thanks to the attached filter basket that protects the inlet of the pump from large solids, these pumps are perfectly suitable for installation directly into the pond to feed water features or water courses. They are also ideal for use within filtration systems such as the Evolution Aqua Nexus+ filters thanks to the aforementioned controllable flow rate. This allows fine tuning of the system to ensure maximum efficiency of the biological filtration within the filter, as well as the efficiency of any UV clarifiers used within the system. They are suitable for both gravity and pump-fed filtration systems.

Available in three different sizes with maximum flow rates of 10,000, 20,000 (both out of stock until mid November) and 30,000 litres per hour. Each model comes with a stepped hose tail that allows easy connection to 25mm, 32mm or 38mm flexible hose.
