Hunter HCC Mains Powered Controllers

These innovative mains powered irrigation controllers from the world renowned Hunter Industries are based on the popular ICC2 model, with the added bonus of the Hydrawise software.

The Hydrawise system allows for remote programming, management and adjustment of irrigation cycles through the Hunter Hydrawise app. This means that there is no need to go back to site after installation just to make minor adjustments to irrigation schedules. The Hydrawise "Predictive Watering" feature uses local weather stations to automatically adjust schedules based on forecast temperature, rainfall probability, wind and humidity, which saves water when the irrigation cycles are not required.

Much like the ICC2 irrigation controllers, the HCC is compatible with the Hunter EZ decoder module which plugs straight in to the first slot within the control unit in place of the standard 8 station multi-core module. This converts the usual multi-core system into a decoder system, allowing up to a whopping 54 stations to be controlled all via a single 2-core cable. This system makes use of the Hunter EZ-1 single station decoders, which are easily programmed and numbered at the decoder module within the controller, all through the Hydrawise app. Instructions on how to programme these decoders can be found here. Once programmed, the decoders should be wired using gel filled connectors to the 2-core decoder cable and the relevant valve, with one decoder per 24v solenoid valve.
