Hunter EZ-DT Hand Held Decoder Diagnostic & Programming Tools

The Hunter EZ-DT is a handheld, battery-operated device used for field diagnostics, troubleshooting and programming within the Hunter EZ decoder systems (ICC2 or HCC).

The tool can be easily paired into a system using the ribbon cable located on the decoder module within the ICC2 or HCC controller, after which it can be used for easy fault detection and troubleshooting in the field, without removing the decoders from their existing wiring. This is thanks to the innovative wireless communication between the EZ-DT tool and the EZ-1 decoders, which allow the decoder’s status, station address, current draw, and voltage to be read and analysed by simply holding the EZ-DT and EZ-1 against each other.

The EZ-DT tool can also be used for programming the station number of the EZ-1 decoders, although this does requires a wired connection to the decoder. This capability provides flexible options for programming decoders prior to installation or reprogramming existing decoders in the field.
