Hunter EZ ICC2/HCC Decoder Modules
As the name suggests, the Hunter EZ ICC2/HCC decoder modules are designed to be used within the Hunter ICC2 and HCC irrigation controllers to convert the standard multi-core capability into a decoder based irrigation system. They plug directly into the first slot of the controller, replacing the 8 station multi-core module that is provided within the controllers by default.
These decoder modules allow a single 2-core cable to be used to control up to a whopping 54 solenoid valves. The system works by programming individual Hunter EZ-1 single station decoders using the programming port on the decoder modules within the controller, either through the dials and buttons on the front of the ICC2 controller or the Hydrawise app for the HCC controller. Once programmed, the single station decoders are numbered, then wired to the 2-core cable and the relevant 24v solenoid valve using gel filled connectors.
