IN-LITE® BIG NERO Tilting Recessed Lights - 12v

The in-lite® BIG NERO tilting recessed uplighters produce a strong but wide 49° beam of light that projects up to a distance of 6.5m. Unlike the smaller NERO, they feature the in-lite® Motion technology, allowing their tilting modules to be adjusted, using just the provided magnet to achieve the desired lighting effect. This makes them perfect for uplighting large walls, sides of buildings and all types of trees, with multiple fixtures recommended for larger trees. Thanks to their wide, flat bezel, they can be installed in gravel, grass, stone, concrete or wood. They require a Ø142mm cut-out if used in solid materials.

If less light is required, the standard NERO can be used instead. However, the NERO does not feature the same tilting module technology as the BIG NERO and BIG NERO NARROW.

Each 12v in-lite® fitting features an LED with a 25,000 hour lifetime, giving you the peace of mind that they are built to last for years to come. They are covered under warranty for 5 years when used with the in-lite® system. Each light is supplied with one of their EASY-LOCK connectors for easily connecting to anywhere on the chosen in-lite® CBL 12v cable. The fitting is then easily connected to the EASY-LOCK using the push-fit connection. The cable length between the EASY-LOCK and the light fitting can be easily extended by up to 3m using the CBL-EXT CORDs cable extensions.

Note: When calculating the total transformer load within an in-lite® system it is crucial to add up the total VA rating rather than the wattage due to power losses. This VA load should not exceed the total stated on the chosen transformer.

Note: If the BIG NERO or BIG NERO NARROW is included in a lighting plan, the following guidelines must be followed due to their high VA requirements: Always use the larger 10/2 gauge cable, do not exceed a cable length of 40 meters or the max. number of fixtures per transformer (HUB-50 for up to four BIG NERO or BIG NERO NARROW fixtures and up to seven with the HUB-100. The SMART HUB-150 is suitable for up to max. 11 total, or max. 7 on one line).
