IN-LITE® BIG SCOPE Spike Spotlights - 12v

The in-lite® BIG SCOPE spotlights are constructed from high quality aluminium and can be easily hidden around the garden thanks to their dark colour. They feature a wide 51° beam angle that illuminates up to a distance of 6m. As a result, the BIG SCOPE is the best choice for multi-stemmed trees, espaliers and large bushes. They are easily mounted into soft ground using the provided spike that comes pre-attached to the fitting. Alternatively, they can be used as a bracket light mounted to wood, bricks or stone by removing the spike and using the provided screws, wall plugs and cable grommet. The BIG SCOPE is rated to IP67 and features an LED chip with a CRI rating of 92, meaning the purity of the light they emit is very high. In layman's terms, this means that the objects you are lighting up will look much closer to their true colour. This is especially important with outdoor lighting that is used around plants and trees, preserving the colours of foliage and flowers when the sun goes down.

These BIG SCOPE spotlights are compatible with the in-lite® SHIELD 2 glare guards and the in-lite® KILLFLASH 2 honeycomb lenses, both of which are designed to reduce glare. The height of the fitting can be increased up to 530mm if required by using the in-lite® RISER spotlight poles. They can even be mounted in trees using the in-lite® BRACE and BRACE BAND accessories.

Each 12v in-lite® fitting features an LED with a 25,000 hour lifetime, giving you the peace of mind that they are built to last for years to come. They are covered under warranty for 5 years when used with the in-lite® system. Each light is supplied with one of their EASY-LOCK connectors for easily connecting to anywhere on the chosen in-lite® CBL 12v cable. The fitting is then easily connected to the EASY-LOCK using the push-fit connection. The cable length between the EASY-LOCK and the light fitting can be easily extended by up to 3m using the CBL-EXT CORDs cable extensions.

Note: When calculating the total transformer load within an in-lite® system it is crucial to add up the total VA rating rather than the wattage due to power losses. This VA load should not exceed the total stated on the chosen transformer.
