The Pontec PondoAir Sets are designed for use within ponds to provide the water with a plentiful supply of oxygen, a vital part of the chemistry of the pond. Maintaining high levels of oxygen within the pond water is not only vital for the health of fish and other water dwelling animals, but also for helping to prevent outbreaks of algae. Algae can be broken down rapidly by naturally occurring bacteria, however this bacteria requires oxygen to survive and as such will benefit hugely from the aeration provided by these air pump.

With an IP44 rating and a 2 year Pontec guarantee, all of these pond aerators are protected against the splashing water within a pond environment. These sets come with everything needed to begin aerating the pond, including spouts, air stones, pipework and even spare motor membranes.

The larger units (1800 and 3600 sets) are even compatible with drum filter systems as they can be used to create turbulence and improve the efficiency of the biological media within the moving bed modules.
