IN-LITE® HUB PROTECTOR Outdoor Casings

The in-lite® HUB transformers are all rated to IP23 as they are designed generally for covered installation in sheds or on sheltered exterior walls. Sometimes this is not possible due to site restrictions, and the transformer must be located in an area where it is partly exposed to the elements.

The in-lite® HUB PROTECTOR outdoor casings provide some protection against the elements and make the HUB transformers suitable for outdoor use. The HUB PROTECTOR is made of high-quality plastic and was developed to protect HUB-50 and HUB-100 transformers installed in exposed areas from all forms of precipitation. Installation is easy; the HUB PROTECTOR simply slides over the housing of the HUB-50 or HUB-100.

Mounting the HUB PROTECTOR requires 3mm of clearance. This can easily be created by loosening the fixing screws two turns.

If you have a SMART HUB-150, you should instead use the SMART HUB PROTECTOR.
