Integral LED Thin Neon Strip Connection Accessories

These connection accessories are specifically designed to be used in conjunction with the Integral LED thin frosted neon strip light.

When the original 5m length of LED strip is cut down to the required size, this leaves an open end on the original strip that requires sealing with an end cap and silicone to maintain the system's IP67 rating. The off-cut can also be re-used but instead requires a new flying lead to be soldered in place using 2-core 0.5mm² cable and a flying lead entry. The flying lead entries and end caps are sold together with 5 of each provided in a single pack.

Applying the end caps couldn't be easier, simply open the tube of silicone and apply silicone to the inside of the end cap then push the cap over the open end of the LED strip. Ensure adequate silicone is applied to create a watertight seal.

The flying lead entries are sealed with silicone in an identical fashion, but first requires the new flying lead cable to be soldered to the terminals on the LED strip. The red wire (positive) should be soldered to the central terminal, while the black wire (neutral) can be soldered to either of the two outer terminals.
