Ortus Charm Lights - antique brass

Exclusive to Landscapeplus, the Ortus range of light fittings offer great quality, reliability and finish, all while remaining cost effective. All Ortus lights are manufactured to include lamp sockets, providing excellent energy saving along with the flexibility of replacement LED lamps.

The antique brass Ortus charm lights are beautifully designed hanging light fittings that consist of a base plate, chain, and hollow cylindrical body, constructed from powder coated aluminium. This cylindrical body features small holes that allow small amounts of light to escape outwards, creating a stunning and dynamic sparkling lighting effect. The light is also emitted downwards, creating a spotlight effect on the ground below. These hanging fittings are extremely versatile and can be installed hanging from overhangs, soffits or eaves, from pergolas, or simply hanging in trees. Multiple fittings can be hung from trees at varying heights to create a really interesting effect.

The lamp holders are compatible with G4 or MR11 lamps, allowing different lighting effects to be created depending on the desired final aesthetic. As a result, we have created two different kits to make specifying these fittings easier: the starlighters utilise G4 capsule lamps to create an atmospheric sparkling effect with little downward light spill, ideal for areas where decorative lighting is preferred. The moonlighters instead utilise MR11 lamps to create extra downward light, which is better suited to areas requiring functional lighting.

Installation is easy using the provided screws and wall plugs which match the colour of the fittings. The 500mm chain can be shortened as required, whilst the mounting plate can be removed if preferred. The cable can be trailed up the chain and through the base of the fitting for a seamless installation if required. These fittings slot seamlessly into the rest of the Ortus 12v system and as such can be easily connected to our 12v potted transformers and parallel wired EasyTee connectors, all with just bullets and heat shrink.

These charm lights are also available in powder coated black aluminium and brass.

Please note that when using our MR11 lamps in these charm lights (used in the moonlighter kit), the spring clips should be adjusted by hand to move them out of position to prevent them from pushing the lamp out of the socket. These clips are only required when using the G4 lamps (used in the starlighter kit).
