Land Drainage Geotextile Wrapping Sleeve

These geotextile fabric wrapping sleeves are recommended for use with the 80mm and 100mm perforated land drainage coils to improve the efficiency and the service life of the system in a cost-effective manner.

These rolls are essentially a water permeable woven sock that is pulled over the perforated land drainage pipe to create a barrier that prevents larger particles from making their way into the perforations and causing potential blockages within the system over time. They are particularly suited for use in sandy and silty soil conditions as these finer particles are small enough to pass through the woven material where they can then be flushed out of the system into the soakaway, while larger particles are held back which creates void spaces around the pipe that improve the permeability of the surrounding earth.
