Oase ProfiClear Premium EGC Drum Filters
The Oase ProfiClear Premium drum filters are specifically designed for the filtration of large bodies of water. These drum filters are self cleaning so they require very little maintenance. With options for both gravity fed or pump fed systems, they can be installed both before or after the pond is constructed.
Thanks to the high quality mesh sieve, these filters can effectively remove debris down to a size of 60µm - finer than a strand of hair. As the sieves begin to become obstructed by debris, the flow rate through the sieves decreases, causing a drop in water level within the drum filter. When this drop is detected by the internal sensors, high pressure jets kick in to flush the drum, returning them to their most efficient state.
To help keep the maintenance as simple as possible, the individual sieve elements are fully removable without tools, aided by the free-wheeling function on the rotating drum for ease of use.
The ProfiClear Premium EGC drum filters are used within a modular system which means they are only one part of the complete system. The other components that are used alongside the drum filter itself can be found on the Oase ProfiClear Premium Components web page.
