Oase ProfiClear Premium XL EGC Drum Filters

As the name suggests, the ProfiClear Premium XL EGC can filter even more water than the standard ProfiClear Premium range, thanks to the new internal drum which is twice the size of the previous model. These drum filters are self cleaning systems that require very little maintenance. With options for both gravity fed or pump fed systems, they can be installed both before or after the pond is constructed.

Thanks to the high quality mesh sieve, these filters can effectively remove debris down to a size of 60µm - finer than a strand of hair. As these sieves begin to become obstructed by debris, the flow rate through the sieves decreases, causing a drop in water level within the drum filter. When this drop is detected by the internal sensors, high pressure jets kick in to flush the drum, returning them to their most efficient state.

To help keep maintenance as simple as possible, the individual sieve elements are fully removable without tools and the drum is designed with a free-wheeling function on the rotating drum to make navigating the filter that little bit easier.
