Plug & Play - Cable & Connectors

The Techmar ‘Plug & Play’ system is very easy to fit. Simply plug the low-voltage SPT1 or SPT3 cable into the transformer, lay it out along the required route (usually around the perimeter of the garden), then connect any combination of lights to the ready-moulded screw connectors spaced along the cable. For extra flexibility, you can use a three-way splitter to make a single outlet into three, extension cables to space fittings further apart, or the bulleted extension cables for connections to Hunza and our Trade fittings. All the lights in the ‘Plug & Play’ range are interchangeable with LuxForm using the ‘Easy Connect’ cable connectors. For cable runs over 15m, or of more than 75w, we recommend using the heavy-duty SPT3 cable to reduce the possible effect of voltage drop.
