Gardena Bluetooth Programmable Valves - 9v

Used for automatically controlling the flow of water to individual irrigation zones, the Gardena Bluetooth programmable solenoid valves are a great option for use within rain water harvesting irrigation systems when running solenoid cable is not possible or practical. They can also be used in place of a tap timer in a tap-based irrigation season, allowing the controller to be hidden away underground.

These valves can be installed below or above ground, but are designed to be housed primarily within the Gardena valve boxes. As each valve is individually programmed and controlled through the Gardena Bluetooth® App, the modular system can be added to repeatedly as required, future-proofing the system and ensuring that irrigation zones can be added to the project further down the line. This also means they can work alongside existing battery or mains powered irrigation systems to expand the number of irrigation zones.

These valves are designed to operate for a full year on a single 9v battery. Batteries are not included and must be purchased separately.

• Completely Wireless - these valves are powered by a single 9v battery that is housed within the body of the valve itself, removing the need for solenoid cable to run around the garden.
• Bluetooth Connection - utilising Bluetooth technology, the valves are programmed through the Gardena Bluetooth® App when within 5 metres of the valves.
• Easily Programmed - the user-friendly App display makes programming the valves very simple, allowing the user to select the watering start time, duration, and frequency on each valve.
• Soil Sensor Capability - compatible with the Gardena soil sensors which can be plugged directly into the valves (one required per valve). The soil sensors detect the moisture level within the soil and, if sufficient water is detect, will prevent any irrigation cycles from commencing.
• Modular System - these valves create a future-proofed system that can be added to repeatedly as required. They can also be tagged on to existing wired or wireless systems to expand the number of irrigation zones.
• Manual Override - the button on the face of the valve opens and closes the valve manually, enabling irrigation to be run as required, without disrupting the pre-programmed cycles.
