Hunter X2 Mains Powered Controllers

The Hunter X2 irrigation controllers live up to the high expectations set by the Hunter X-Core range, offering excellent reliability and programming capabilities but with a modern twist. With options ranging from 4 stations all the way up to 14 stations, they are absolutely ideal for almost any residential application. Just like with the X-Core controllers, the irrigation schedules can be programmed using the simple dial and buttons located on the face of the controller.

Unlike the X-Core, the X2 controllers have the capability of being fully controlled and programmed via smartphone, all thanks to the Hunter Wand Wi-Fi module (purchased separately). This accessory can be inserted directly into the side of the X2, allowing the user to access the controller through the Hydrawise mobile app. Once linked to the app, it will forget all previously saved schedules to provide a clean slate for re-programming to take place.

The Hydrawise app allows for remote programming, management and adjustment of irrigation cycles, meaning that there is no need to go back to site after installation just to make minor adjustments, therefore saving time and travel costs. The Hydrawise Predictive Watering feature uses local weather stations to automatically adjust schedules based on forecasted temperature, rainfall probability, wind and humidity, saving water when the irrigation cycles are not required. If the Hunter Wand is not used, the Hunter Rain-Clik wireless rain sensor can be used to help save water instead.

Another useful feature is the Easy Retrieve Memory, which allows the user to manually back-up any programmed irrigation cycles. The back-ups can then be used to reset any cycles back to their original settings as required, for example, if a customer has tampered with them.

The Hunter Wand Wi-Fi module must be within Wi-Fi range and is only compatible with 2.4GHz networks.
