Kasco Lake Management Aerating Fountains - JF Series

The Kasco JF aerating fountains offer unrivalled value for money, combining breath-taking aesthetics with aeration and customisability, all without sacrificing reliability. With motor options ranging from ½HP to 3HP, as well as options for three phase power (380v), there are units available to aerate a wide range of pond or lake sizes.

The Kasco JF aerating fountains provide a pleasing aesthetic with their stunning array of spray patterns. Provided along with every JF Series Kasco is a choice of 5 different nozzles that can be easily changed over thanks to their 'twist & lock' design. These patterns can be seen in the images on this page, with each image labelled with the power of the motor as well as the name of the pattern.

Not only do the Kasco JF Series units look amazing, they also provide some aeration, increasing oxygen levels in the water. Aeration is key to maintaining healthy pond or lake chemistry, with low oxygen levels encouraging harmful anaerobic bacteria to thrive. Anaerobic bacteria break down algae at a far slower pace than aerobic bacteria, as well as releasing toxic or undesirable chemicals such as methane, hydrogen sulphide and ammonia into the eco system. This can cause algae to grow out of control as it grows faster than it can be broken down, and can also damage wildlife if left to go out of control. Aerating the water encourages higher levels of oxygen, enabling healthy aerobic bacteria to do what they do best - consume algae and keep the eco system thriving!

If aeration is paramount, Kasco also offer the VFX range of floating fountains as well as Kasco surface aerators. The VFX Series of floating fountains provide more aeration than the JF Series, although they do not feature the interchangeable nozzle pattern. The Kasco Surface Aerators provide the most aeration of all the Kasco offerings, but without any decorative spray nozzle.
