Oase AquaAir Eco 250 Floating Sub-Surface Pond Aerators

Updated in 2023 to feature more efficient motors with vastly reduced power usage and noise, the Oase AquaAir Eco 250 aerators are designed to float on the surface of the water, pulling oxygen from above the surface before injecting it up to 4m below the surface. The clever design allows the angle of injector nozzle to be adjusted to suit the depth of the pond.

Oxygen is crucial within ponds to maintain clear water, healthy wildlife, and to prevent algae blooms. High oxygen levels (along with moving water) encourage healthy aerobic bacteria to safely break down organic matter within the pond, while low levels of oxygen encourage anaerobic bacteria. These bacteria break organic matter down into undesirable and often dangerous compounds such as methane, hydrogen sulphide and ammonia. This not only exacerbates algae blooms, but can also cause foul odours or even fish death.

The AquaAir Eco aerators don't just increase oxygen levels, but also help to move otherwise stagnant water, further reducing the chance of algae growth by encouraging oxygenated water to reach all parts of the pond.

Constructed from stainless steel and other high quality materials, these aerators are robust and built to last in the pond environment. Provided within the scope of delivery are all the fixings required to fasten the floating unit in place.
