Oase BioTec ScreenMatic² Filters

These innovative ‘ScreenMatic’ filters set new standards in outstanding biological filtration coupled with low maintenance. The key to this new design is that before water enters the filter box, it is washed over the ScreenMatic sieve which retains any particles over 100 microns in size. This means only lightly polluted water actually reaches the filter sponges, vastly reducing the need for maintenance. The special tool supplied with the filter allows the sponges to be cleaned directly in the filter, with the dirty water being easily emptied using the built-in sludge drain.
