Hunter MP Rotator 2000 Spray Nozzles (4.3m - 5.8m Radius)

The revolutionary MP Rotators from Hunter Industries feature a unique, multi-trajectory rotating stream delivery system that achieves excellent water-conserving results. Rather than simply “spraying” water onto landscapes, MP Rotators deliver multiple streams of water at a steady rate. This slower application rate allows water to gently soak into the soil and achieves an even distribution throughout the area being irrigated.

This increased efficiency results in 30% less water use when compared to traditional sprays and significantly reduces wasteful runoff. The unique spray pattern also ensures the water is uniformly distributed and is resistant to wind, preventing misting and therefore reducing evaporation. As a result of this very clever design, the MP Rotators to achieve the lowest precipitation rate in the industry. This ensures that as much water as possible is absorbed into the soil rather than building up on the surface and causing run-off.

These nozzles can also be adjusted easily using the Hunter MP Rotator adjustment tools. This dual purpose tool enables easy adjustment of the spray angle to achieve the desired coverage (on applicable models), as well as the adjustment of the flow rate (and therefore the spray radius) by up to 25%. The MP Rotators have the unique ability to control the amount of water flowing through the nozzle at various arc and radius settings, resulting in matched precipitation regardless of the nozzle setting, hence the MP name (matched precipitation).

These nozzles are absolutely ideal for use with the Hunter PRS-40 pop-up sprinklers as these pop-ups are pressure regulated to 2.8 bar.
